This gin contains 12 local plants, all of which, according to the manufacturer, grow on the farm's land, including lavender and Karoo (from Khoisan = semi-desert). Karoo is a South African landscape with many endemic plants (found only here), named after the succulent Karoo, which comes in a variety of forms, from ground cover to tree.
