This gin contains 12 local plants, all of which, according to the manufacturer, grow on the farm's land, including lavender and Karoo (from Khoisan = semi-desert). Karoo is a South African landscape with many endemic plants (found only here), named after the succulent Karoo, which comes in a variety of forms, from ground cover to tree. Interesting gin in beautiful packaging. Smells very fresh and herbal. Pleasantly smooth on the palate. Broad, long-lasting aroma. Very good quality! In attractive gift packaging.

At Six Dogs, like so many good things, it all began in the humblest of ways: a shed that usually housed their six dogs and an old copper boiler turned into a still. From there was born the dream of creating a gin that would make a difference in the South African craft distillery sector and abroad.
